Embroidery area
With a large embroidery area of 130mm x 180mm (5" x 7"), you can stitch bigger designs on a broader variety of items. It’s the perfect hoop - most embroidery design projects are created for this size.

Note: The Brother F540E features Brother Clip-On Embroidery Frames (without pins). The embroidery unit on the machine has pins that the embroidery frames easily lock onto.
Built-in stitches, embroidery designs and fonts
The design library built into this machine gives you all the tools you need to create unique designs. Not only does it include 193 built-in embroidery designs, there are also 10 frame shapes and 14 stitch types which you can combine to an amazing 140 framing patterns.
Plus, the 13 embroidery lettering fonts come in 3 sizes that you can mix and match to create stylish monograms and lettering.
Your library will be unlimited thanks to the handy USB connectivity.

Transfer files via USB
Do you have embroidery designs you’ve made on software, or purchased? Importing them to this machine is super simple - plug in the USB with the files, and away you go.

When connected to a wireless network, use Design Database Transfer to send designs wirelessly from your PC to your machine.

The advanced needle threading system makes threading your needles quick and easy. No more straining to see or trying to nab that thread with tweezers - just press the lever, and it will pull the thread right through the eye of the needle.
Drop-in bobbin
Forget the fuss and fiddly nature of front-loading bobbins. This function allows you to simply drop your bobbin in and thread in the direction of the handy arrow, and start stitching again in no time!

My review of Brother F540E with Ultimate Bundle
By: Valerie on 18 December 2024I'm still learning to use the machine, what has been very helpful is the number of video's to help guide you in the use of the machine. Having the Ultimate Bundle is terrific because some of the software intergrates with the main software program. I must also state Sharon has been a big help and patient with our questions.
