You will usually need your machine model number before searching. This can often be found on the front of your machine, near the screen, on the rating plate, or in your original paperwork.

Brother provides online manuals, firmware updates and software downloads for sewing, embroidery and ScanNCut machines.
Already using PE-Design? Open the software and select Check for Updates from the Help or settings menu to see if a newer version is available.
Janome
Janome provides online manuals and software updates for many sewing, quilting and embroidery machines.
Juki
Juki instruction manuals are available online for many domestic sewing and overlocking machines.
Baby Lock
Baby Lock manuals and support files are available through the Baby Lock website.
To locate your manual, first search for your machine model, then open the product page and select the Downloads tab to access available PDF manuals and support files.
Halo

Updating Your Machine or Software
Once you've located your machine or software download page using the links above, select your operating system and download the latest available update if required.
We recommend performing machine updates via USB where possible. Poor Wi-Fi or interrupted internet connections can sometimes cause issues during the update process.
Do I need to update?
You only need to update your machine or software when a newer version has been released. Before installing an update, check the version currently installed on your machine or software.
Before you begin
- Carefully read all update instructions before starting.
- Do not turn your machine off during the update process.
- Make sure your computer and machine remain connected until the update is complete.
- Some updates may require a USB stick or direct USB cable connection.
