Each spool contains 1000 metres of hi-sheen, soft and supple polyester embroidery thread with a brilliant lustre. This exceptional world-class product is not only vibrant and glossy, but strong and colourfast for superb stitching. Hemingworth thread is suitable for stitching machine embroidery designs and built-in decorative machine stitches.
Optional spool, cap and stopper system available. This system:
- Preserves thread quality by blocking dust, oil and other harmful elements from reaching the thread
- Has a removable stopper which traps the thread, preventing unraveling and tangling while the thread isn't in use
- Has a protective cap which delivers the thread smoothly off the spool during embroidery
- Offers a wide range of strong, vibrant, 100% colourfast threads
- Allows the thread to be positioned in multiple directions with a smooth feed every time.

Beautiful and practical.
By: Elaine on 6 January 2023Just lovely. So smooth, you can feel the difference while threading the machine. Spoilt for choice with colours. I've been collecting over quite a few months, I use my platinum discount, the price is amazing and use my free postage. Stitch out is beautiful, less thread all over the floor . I purchased the colour chart, so there's no surprises when you receive your delivery. The spool cap is a treat when you don't forget and remove it (old habits). If I had the room they would always be on display. Pretty sure I have all the colours I need (who am I kidding?) I want them all. So pleased I made the change. Thank you Echidna sewing for making them all available at such a great price, easy service and such fast delivery.

Great Polyester Thread
By: Fiona on 28 January 2022I have just used my first Hemmingworth thread purchase. I did an FSL Dreamcatcher. It stitched out very well. No thread breaks or glitches on my Janome 500e. I also love the plastic case around it. Keeps the thread dust free. Great product. I'll definitely be buying more colours.
