Brother Innov-is A16 Computerised Sewing Machine

The A16 sewing machine is sturdy, easy-to-use and provides Innov-is quality stitching. Featuring 16 stitches and 3 one-step buttonhole styles, this machine can sew sheers, cottons, stretch fabrics and denim smoothly and evenly. The automatic needle threading and auto-reinforcement at start/finish of seams makes your sewing process a dream.
This machine is a great entry-level machine that is competent for beginners. With it being light enough for travel, it's perfect for taking to classes, holidays, and anywhere you wish to sew. The A16 supplies the same stitch quality as the more advanced machines.

16 sewing stitches
From simple straight stitches to using the built-in crocodile to adjust your stitch length as desired.
Preview the stitches on the stitch pattern plate and affix it to the top of your machine for easy viewing. The stitch pattern plate shows a preview of the stitch and its number. Use the electronic jog dial to navigate through the available stitches on the machine.
3 One Step Buttonholes
The one step ‘auto size’ buttonhole function creates perfectly uniform buttonholes in a single action.
Automatic needle threading system
Threading is easier than ever before with the Brother ‘one-action’ needle threader and the easy to follow threading guides. Simply press the button and the machine threads the needle for you!
Quick set drop-in bobbin
Just drop in a full bobbin, thread in the direction of the arrow and you're ready to sew.
LCD Display
The 62 x 23.5mm, clear LCD display automatically shows you all the important information for your selected stitch, like width, length and the type of presser foot required.
Intuitive user-friendly controls
Handy central controls help make sewing simpler. Intuitive jog dials and electronic touchpads provide fingertip control of stitch functions.
Plus, it features a speed slide control which allows you to adjust the sewing speed from slow to fast.

Drop feed
Extra feed dogs ensure a smooth feeding action and superior stitch quality. Sew smooth pinpoint seams on any weight of fabric, from sheer silk to denim.
Feed dogs are easily lowered for free motion or free hand sewing – useful when quilting or for embroidery.
LED Sewing Light
A bright but gentle light, effectively lighting your workspace and making it easier to work on dark fabrics.

Upper thread tension adjustment

By: Merle on 20 May 2021fantastic machine. love the fact that you can either use foot controller, or just press the start/stop button on machine. great that you can alter "shop" settings for length of stitch and width of stitch for zigzag so easily with a touch of the buttons. Much easier to use that my old mechanical one.
