Description

Hot melt web is a clear double-sided iron-on adhesive webbing with a pressing paper applied. Perfect for appliqué and welding craft fabrics together, it is soft, pliable and easy to sew or embroider. You can also use it to stabilize fabric when using a ScanNCut. Lightweight with a strong bond, it is suitable for any fabric.

To use for appliqué simply iron to the reverse side of the fabric, cut the appliqué to the desired shape and remove the backing paper. Then iron onto your base fabric using a high temperature and firm pressure (you may need to place a cotton cloth over your fabric to avoid scorching).

To use with the Brother ScannCut, iron the webbing to the reverse side of the appliqué fabric and stick the fabric to the standard mat with the webbing side downwards.

Does the job. Made it easy cutting material on the scanncut specially lighter material. I use regular mat. Good for applique. However the roll had a join in it that was stuck together with about a 5cm piece of sticky tape so had some extra wastage as the sticky tape didn't come off cleanly. Didn't want sticky tape on iron. Would be better if they left tape off altogether. Cheaper than Heat and bond and does the job.

I found this product to be excellent. It is much easier to remove the second piece of backing than any other type I have used previously. It is also perfect for using on my cutting machine because of the 12" width.
