Advanced needle threading system
Threading your needle using the advanced needle threading system is easy and simple. Press the lever to pull the thread through the eye of the needle. This threading system saves frustration and strain on your eyes.
Drop-in bobbin
The drop-in bobbin feature is quick and seamless. Unlike a fiddly front loading bobbin, just drop-in your bobbin and you’re ready to embroider!
Embroidery area
Use the large embroidery area of 130mm x 180mm (5" x 7") to stitch out larger designs and embellish your creations. This is the size that most embroidery design projects are created for.

Note: The Brother F440E features Brother Clip-On Embroidery Frames (without pins). The embroidery unit on the machine has pins that the embroidery frames easily lock onto.
Built-in embroidery designs and fonts
Start embroidering right away with 138 built-in embroidery designs. Including 10 frame shapes, combine them with 14 stitch types and you’ll have 140 framing patterns. With 11 embroidery lettering fonts available in 3 sizes, you can combine frames with lettering to create unique and stylish monograms.
Plus, there are thousands of embroidery designs available online so your library will be unlimited!
USB Compatibility
Import designs from your USB memory stick directly to the machine - it's so easy! Whether it’s purchased designs or designs you created yourself using software, you’ll be stitching them out in no time.
LCD colour touch screen
Use the clear, colour backlit screen to view your embroidery information. View and edit your designs easily on this LCD display.
On-screen editing
With just the touch of a button, you can easily adjust the size and rotation or mirror your embroidery patterns. Text rotation and font selection are also available from one single editing panel. Choose from 11 built-in font styles and personalise your sewing and embroidery projects. The on-screen editing allows you to have a realistic preview of the patterns.
Spacious workspace

Bobbin Winding System

LOVE THIS

Also, it is easy to setup, this is my first time using an embroidery machine and I absolutely 100% love it! Have only had one go at font using the machines in-built fonts and am amazed! Can't wait to try out more.
