How wide do I cut my fabric?
To create single-fold bias tape, you will need to multiply your desired width by two. For double fold bias tape, multiple your desired width by four.
For example: To create half inch wide single fold bias tape, you will need to cut 1" wide strips (½ x 2 = 1). To create half inch wide double fold bias tape, you will need to cut 2 inch wide strips (½ x 4 = 2).

But the first session I made about 40 metres of bias, all in the 3/4 size. I am thrilled with the gadget and I have no burnt fingers. I wish I had purchased it a long time ago.
