New bobbin case
By: Kelly on 17 September 2026I was having trouble with my Janome HD9, with the thread continually unthreading after using the thread cutter. After some troubleshooting, I decided the bobbin case might be the problem and ordered a replacement. I’m very relieved to say I chose the right part! Since replacing the bobbin case, my machine is working as it should again and even seems to be running a little quieter. Considering the price of the replacement, I was definitely relieved that I had diagnosed the problem correctly. I was also really happy with the service from Echidna. I’m in New Zealand and my order arrived pretty quickly, which was great. The little glass-cleaning cloth included as an extra gift was a lovely surprise too.
