Free-arm, tubular embroidery machine
The tubular or free-arm machine design is the most versatile style of embroidery machine and allows you to hoop and embroider a huge range of items with ease, usually without the need to unpick seams. It opens a world of opportunity and even includes the professional cap frame system as standard.
Automatic 15 needles
15 needle automation means you don’t have to babysit your machine to change thread colours. The intelligent control panel will automatically select and move the needle head to the next colour, and start stitching without your input. Repeat colours are also automatically selected and forced colour stops for applique, badges and in the hoop embroidery projects are easily set.
Large 400mm x 600mm embroidery area
A large embroidery area provides greater flexibility and is ideal for creating bespoke embroidered fabric, badges and patches, quilt blocks, wall hangings and home décor items. The included large sash/badge frame has a embroidery area of 600mm x 400mm without the need to re-hoop the fabric.
Solid mobile steel stand included
Featuring heavy duty lockable castors, this high quality all steel mobile stand offers great mobility and vibration free operation and is supplied as standard with the Halo-1501 Pro.
10” Colour Touch Screen with user-friendly controls
Easy to use and packed with features is the best way to describe the advanced 10” LCD colour touch screen and it's the perfect command centre for your embroidery production. Industry-standard DST format designs are loaded via a simple no-fuss USB port. Plus the Halo-1501 Pro is capable of storing over one hundred million stitches with a huge 4 million stitch limit on individual designs. The selectable hoop option allows you to visually see exactly where your design will stitch in reference to the hoop which greatly aids design placement.
Built-in Fonts
Supplied with 5 built-in scalable fonts, you can create text and monograms up to 100mm high without the need for additional software. Ideal for quick name or business personalization requirements.
Real time stitch simulator
Track your designs on-screen and preview your embroidery stitch-out progress, which is also invaluable when jogging forward or backward through the design.
Bright LED lighting
Illuminate your work area with the flexible LED lighting feature. View your projects and aid the needle threading process with a clear bright workspace so you can see every detail.
Customizable Thread Colour palette
Assign thread colours on-screen to similarly match the actual colours on the machine. This makes setting the design colour selection and sequencing a breeze.
Automatic thread break detection spinners
Thread breaks happen from time to time but the Halo will reliably and quickly detect a thread break and automatically backtrack up to 9 stitches prior to rethreading the needle to ensure perfect resumption of stitching. Additional backtracking is easily accessible when required.

LED laser light positioning system
The built-in LED laser pointer shows the position of the needle drop point and makes for easy design placement and tracing.
Thread tension adjustment
Adjust each thread tension individually using the dials on the top of the machine to achieve smooth, quality stitches.
Independent bobbin winder included
Wind bobbins independently using a fast commercial style bobbin winding unit. It features an adjustable auto stop function to prevent over winding.
Adjustable Take Up Check Spring
The thread take-up check spring is integral to a well-balanced stitch which can vary depending on the type of thread you use, such as metallic or even the different weights of a conventional embroidery thread.
Automatic Thread Trimming & Jump Stitch Detection
Thread trimming is a must-have on any embroidery machine but combined with jump stitch detection which will tie off and trim those unwanted jump stitches, you’ll have virtually no unsightly threads to unpick or remove when the design is completed.
Self-Lubricating System
The Halo features a wick feed oil system to keep the needle bar mechanisms running smoothly without requiring regular oiling by the user.

Cap frame kit included

The Halo-1501 is a high-quality 15 needle embroidery machine designed for both commercial and small business applications and is warranted under the following conditions. These conditions are in addition to other consumer rights and remedies as provided under Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty conditions:
- Warranty period is for 2,500* hours actual stitching time or 5 years from date of purchase, whichever comes first.
- Regular machine servicing is required every 12 months or 500 hours, whichever comes first.
- Machine servicing must be performed by an Echidna Sewing technician, a qualified embroidery machine technician or a person endorsed by Echidna Sewing to perform such servicing.
- Suitable quality parts must be used when required.
- The warranty is conditional upon the operator performing regular maintenance as recommended by Echidna Sewing.
- Electronics will only be covered under the warranty terms provided the machine is connected to a reliable 240v power supply using a quality surge protection device approved by Echidna Sewing
Machine warranty does not include:
- General supplies that need replacing because of normal wear and tear, including but not limited to needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, needle plates, thread trimming knives, springs, belts, etc
- Hoops and other additional accessories
- Consumable items such as needles, bobbins, thread
- Normal wear and tear on all external covers
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, improper operation or installation, natural disasters (lightning, earthquake, fire, flood)
- Foreign matter in the machine (liquid, moisture, dirt, insect infestations)
- Damage caused by incorrect servicing, maintenance, modification or tampering from non-approved technicians or individuals
- Damage caused by the use of incorrect or poor-quality needles, stabilizers, threads, designs or other consumable items.
- Damage caused by the use of non-appropriate electrical voltages
- Warranty is void if the serial number or label has been removed
*All statistical data is recorded and easily accessible by the user. Includes actual run time and number of stitches.
