I do not know how to use this, as there aren't many instructions. I tried using it on a pair of fabric scissors which isn't cutting fabric any more, and it didn't work. Could someone enlighten me?

What a handy little gadget that does what it says. I followed Gary's video on how to use it and practised on a very old, blunt pair of kitchen scissors which are now as sharp as my material scissors.

I have tried other scissor and knife sharpeners they don’t sharpen like they say they do. This sharpener I got from Echidna is perfect. Especially for the curved appliqué scissors. My scissors weren’t sharpening like they were supposed to but the product from Echidna worked a treat. Would recommend it to everyone

I never thought it could be this easy to sharpen scissors. I had 3 pair sof scissors that had been moved to the paper drawer, it took just a few minutes to sharpen them and they are once again cutting fabric better than new! I would definitely recommend watching the video, it really is as easy as it appears on TV.
