Beginner's Sewing is a series of four self-paced lessons that teaches you the basics of successful sewing with a mechanical or computerized sewing machine. If you’ve been curious about sewing, but not sure where to start this is the first step.
In this series we take a deep dive into how to use your sewing machine, the importance of needles, stitches & feet, plus we take a look at different fabric types and how they impact stitching. Throughout the series you will work with your machine to complete stitch drills, sew buttons, use a zipper foot and play with feet. You will gain confidence in sewing with your machine and be able to problem solve when things go wrong!
This series offers an optional kit, to assist you with each lesson. There are four lessons in the series, and you have the option to purchase the kit, or you can choose to repurpose your own clothes or fabric stash.
Caters for both mechanical and computerised sewing
This series includes classes for both mechanical and computerised sewing. You will get access to both sets of classes.
