By: Rachael on 17 August 2022I have swapped over the throat plate when I first bought the machine, and I probably won't swap back until I need to do some fine sewing. It reduces the chances of scratching up your plate by having a slightly bigger needle hole. Just buy it, put it on and then you can forget about it.
