Box Feed System
The Juki industrial box feed system has been brought to the home sewing machine, including the HZL-DX7. Create perfect high-quality stitches on all types of fabrics using the box feed.
Straight Stitch Slide Plate
To switch to a single needle hole, simply slide the front lever! With precise needle penetration, sew the lightest materials. Fabrics cannot be pushed into the needle hole using the single needle plate. Free motion stitch with precision and perfection. Only the straight stitch patterns can be selected when the single needle hole plate is configured, therefore you can sew with confidence.
Float Function prevents uneven seams
You can sew with the presser foot slightly elevated by pushing the float button. You can sew fabrics without pushing layers or creating uneven seams by allowing the presser foot to float.
Buttonhole Sensor System
For optimal feed on all types of fabric, use the buttonhole sensor system. The one-step buttonhole is efficient as it measures and sews evenly on both the right and left sides. Automatically works in optimum order for a perfectly finished buttonhole.
Presser Foot Pivot Function
The needle stops in the down position when you stop sewing, and the presser foot automatically raises to allow fabric movement. Sew corners or pivot with ease, and the presser foot automatically lowers when you resume sewing for smooth, continuous sewing.
Adjustable starting/reverse stitch speed
You can adjust the starting and reverse stitch speed between three steps of fast, normal, and slow.
Create and design with precision and perfection
Lock Stitch
You have two options for the lock stitch at the beginning and end of sewing: "Reverse stitch" and "Lock stitch." If you click the lock stitch button while sewing a design, the machine will stop after one cycle of the pattern has been completed.
Low-speed Inching Sewing
You can sew slowly by pressing and holding the needle up/down button. Sew precise corners, stops, and starts.
Speedy Straight Sewing
With a maximum straight sewing speed of 1,050 stitches/min, you can sew fast.
Knee-Lifting Lever
The knee-lifting lever can raise and lower the presser foot. When the lever is pressed, the presser foot lifts up to 0.5" (12mm). When the foot is raised to the maximum height, you can also switch it back from automatic operation (button) to manual operation.

Automatic Needle Threader
Simply place the thread in the guide and lower the lever. Easily and quickly thread a needle with one hand.
Bobbin Winder with independent motor
Simply wind some thread around the bobbin and slide it through the guide to prepare it for winding. You can wind the bobbin thread at any time and then cut it with a cutter.
Quick Bobbin Preparation
The bobbin preparation is easy. Just follow the guide and it is not necessary to : pull up the bobbin thread.

Stitch Adjustment Dial
Use the easy-to-operate dial to adjust the width and length of the stitch. The dial also lets you make slight adjustments while seiwng zigzag stitches.
Direct Stitch Pattern Selection
Often-used sewing patterns such as straight lines, overcast stitches, and zigzag patterns can be quickly selected via direct buttons. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the touch panel.
Free Motion
Flip the switch and drop your feed dogs. Enjoy both straight stitch and specialised zig zag for free motion. Adjust the presser foot ehight for easy movement. Enjoy the freedom of free motion.
One-Point Patterns
The decorative patterns can e sewn as one point patterns. It is also lovely to create an original tag by combining these patterns with the character stitches.
Character Stitch
The machine includes four alphabetic/numeric fonts. Up to ten often-used patterns such as names and initials can be saved in the memory.

Dream machine
By: Laura on 25 February 2026I’ve been using this machine for nearly 2 months and it has worked absolutely perfectly every single time I’ve used it. Incredibly easy to use, great accessories and I loveeeee the amount of stitches it can sew. I actually think they’re all worth it, I’ve used quite a few of them, particularly the decorative ones and the lettering. Having the pedal set to backstitch when you press the front is my favourite feature. So far it hasn’t struggled one bit on thicker materials. Much quieter than my old sewing machine and so much smoother and faster. No negatives with this machine.

With features such as auto thread cutting, pivoting and float, easy handling and complete set of accessories as well as being very easy to use, we have not regretted our choice and can strongly recommend the Juki HZL-DX7.
