Heirloom Premium Black Batting (Cotton 80/ Poly 20)
Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 Black Batting combines 80% natural cotton with 20% polyester to create a soft, low-loft batting in a rich black colour. The dark batting is particularly suited to quilts made with dark fabrics, helping maintain a consistent appearance without a light batting showing through.
Lightweight and easy to handle, it provides even loft distribution and is suitable for traditional, modern and art quilts. The breathable cotton fibres provide a comfortable feel, while the low loft makes it well suited to detailed quilting and projects requiring a flatter finish. Pre-washing is not recommended.
