The Echidna Thread Stand is that missing tool you didn't know you needed. If you have trouble achieving smooth thread delivery on your sewing machine and controlling how your thread feeds off the spool, this is the perfect solution! It prevents the thread from coming off the spool and wrapping around the spool pin and eliminates extra tension on the thread through vertical delivery.

Simply place the Thread Stand on the vertical spool pin on top of your machine, set your thread on the stand, and thread it through the top before threading your machine as normal. It will add stability and reduce tangling, uncontrolled tugging and loose thread feeding, so you can achieve smooth thread delivery and fantastic stitching results!

This product is designed and produced at Echidna Sewing using 100% sustainable, plant-derived plastic. The Thread Stand is available in two sizes to suit different spool sizes and bases, making it easy to choose the right option for your thread. It is designed for use on sewing machines with a vertical spool pin and can also be used on other machines, however, an extra spool pin may be required.

Choose the Mini Thread Stand for 1000m mini cone-shaped thread spools or similar, or the Regular Thread Stand for larger spools and thread cones with a larger base. Neither size is recommended for the large 5000m commercial-style thread cones.

A very useful item to have, after all these years finally I am now using this stand and the drama of the bigger thread tubes falling off the sewing machine especially when stitching with higher speed and distribution of my sewing work is over. Thanks to the person who came up with the idea of inventing it and making it available for people like me to use it

This extra accessory for sewing machines wich has short thread stand . It is amazing and very helpful for my vintage sewng machine. No place else has it.

When ordering the Mini thread stand I understood it would fit on the bobbin winder holder of my essence embroidery machine ,but on receiving the Holder I found it would not fit as the hole to fit over the winder was to small,luckily I had a friend who made the larger by drilling it bigger and I have been able to use the Mini thread holder ,but then I found the cotton when using it worked its up and over the slit in the holder and I had to stop my machine to put the cotton back onto the holder ,but i have fixed by putting a touch of super glue across the top of the slit which stops the cotton from rising up and coming off the holder ,since doing this I have happily been embroidering with no trouble .
