Heataway is a clear film used on high pile and textured fabrics that virtually disappears when heat is applied. No water is required so it is a great alternative to a water soluble topping, like SuperSolv.

Just experimented using this top and bottom of balsa wood machine embroidery. Fantastic removed as much excess as possible then a pressing cloth top and bottom hot dry iron and presto all gone. Thank you Echidna

Absolutely super for towels and tee shirts that have cutaway or tearaway stabiliser in the hoop. No need to dampen or wet your item which is especially handy when gifting. I like the feel of it and the little dimples to place face down to the fabric. Echidna Tape held it in place easily and there was no risk of it being 'grabbed' by the presser foot as it has a crispness that Supersolve does not. If I were using Washaway in the hoop I'd probably use Supersolve but it is great to have the choice. Off to do those lovely towels I bought yesterday.
