Feed dog adjuster
Using the feed dog adjuster in conjunction with the Presser foot pressure dial will allow you to sew with ease on all types of fabric, even special ones such as velvet.
Removable knee lift
The removable knee lift enables you to lift your presser foot, leaving both hands free for fabric handling.
Quick bobbin threading device
Change bobbins quickly and easily with the quick bobbin system with built-in thread cutter.
Automatic needle lowering
This convenient feature lets you preprogram the needle up/down position when the machine stops.
Automatic thread cutter

By: Mandi on 3 February 2025The machine sounds like a chaff cutter. The tension is prickly unless you are using either Guterman or rasant thread. Even my old cheap machines have not given me grief with tension like this one. Not sure what I was expecting but it was talked up to be the bees' knees [another store] I am now saving for a Janome M8 or equivalent. I wish I had thought more about multi stitches.

Brother PQ1500SL
By: Leigh on 25 January 2025I got my PQ1500SL almost one month ago and I absolutely love it. I am so glad I went with this machine, it is beautiful to sew on. I saved a project which involved sewing through multiple thick layers and it went like a dream. I now have 3 Brother machines; and a bonus is that the power & foot controls are interchangeable, which is very handy. I was initially tossing up between a Juki and the Brother, and am so glad I went the Brother. The only thing that could have made this experience any better was if Gary had of delivered and set it up for me himself (lol).

Work horse machine
