The 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4") Brother Slide-on Embroidery Frame features factory-coded decals designed for use with the Brother My Design Snap App.

When used with the app's capture function, the coded decals help capture the embroidery area along with your drawing or illustration. The image can then be transferred to your compatible machine, where you can position, colourise and turn your creation into embroidery.

On machines without My Design Snap, the frame can still be used for normal embroidery; the coded decals simply have no function

100 x 100mm Embroidery Frame for XE1

To date, I have only used this frame for small embroidery. I have yet to learn to use the frame with the iPhone camera etc. That will have to wait until the New Year when I have time to spend getting to know the new machine and all that it does including using the frames. I am very impressed with Brother products and would highly recommend them to friends, family, anyone. Thank you and best wishes to all. Helen.
