Donate a quilt
Every year we receive hundreds of beautiful homemade quilts to be donated to charity. As they are such a popular project, we've provided a list of charities that accept quilt donations all year round! So you can go ahead and create quilts whenever you like and send them to a charity of your choice.
Mary Potter Foundation Inc
Required quilt size: 48" x 48"
Any pattern or colour is suitable.
The Mary Potter Foundation Inc would be very grateful to receive any quilts. Each patient who comes to the Hospice is offered a handmade quilt to keep them warm and to provide them comfort. The quilt is given to their family to keep once they no longer need it.

Requirements:
- Navy and red for boys
- Green and pink base for girls
- Not too many pictures on the fabric so they can be used across age groups

- Be made from new materials
- Clean and free from chemicals, smoke and pet hair
- Cannot have any potential choking hazards like buttons, beads, gems or rhinestones.

Echidna project material/ fabric requirements are an indication only and can seem to be generous. This has been intentional. Should you make a cutting or embroidery mistake you will have sufficient fabric to rectify your error.
