Generous 210mm Sewing Workspace

Free Arm Sewing
Remove the accessory storage section to access the free arm, making it easier to sew tubular and hard-to-reach areas such as cuffs, sleeves and trouser legs.
9mm Stitch Width
Create wider decorative stitches and bold sewing details with a maximum stitch width of 9mm. The additional width gives decorative stitches greater visual impact and provides more flexibility across a range of sewing techniques.
5mm Stitch Length
Adjust stitch length up to 5mm to suit different fabrics, threads and sewing techniques, from shorter construction stitches through to longer topstitching and basting.
Up to 1,000 Stitches Per Minute
With a maximum sewing speed of 1,000 stitches per minute, the Skyline 5 can move efficiently through long seams and larger projects while still giving you the control needed for detailed and precise sewing.
Variable ZigZag
Variable ZigZag lets you control the width of a zigzag stitch using the foot control while you sew. Increasing the pressure on the foot control increases the stitch width, giving you hands-free control for creative techniques such as free-motion quilting and thread painting.
3 Built-In Fonts
Personalise projects directly from the machine with three built-in lettering fonts: Block, Script and Broadway. With support for nine alphabets, you have more options for creating labels, names, initials, messages and decorative lettering.
Pattern Combination Storage
Combine compatible stitches and lettering to create your own stitch sequences, then store pattern combinations for convenient access when you want to use them again.
91 Needle Positions
Fine-tune stitch placement with 91 needle positions adjustable in precise 0.1mm increments. This additional control is useful for topstitching, edge stitching, quilting, seam allowances and other techniques where accurate needle positioning matters.
10 Built-In Buttonholes
Choose from 10 built-in buttonholes, including nine one-step buttonhole styles and a welted buttonhole option, giving you a variety of finishes for garments, fabrics and sewing projects.

7-Piece Feed Dog System

Easy Set Top-Loading Bobbin
The easy-set top-loading bobbin with full rotary hook system makes bobbin changes quick and accessible. The clear bobbin cover also makes it easy to view the bobbin while you sew.
Built-In Bobbin Winder
Wind bobbins directly on the machine with the built-in bobbin winder, making it easy to prepare additional bobbins for your sewing projects.
Straight Stitch Needle Plate Included
The supplied straight stitch needle plate provides additional fabric support around the needle when straight stitching. It is particularly useful when working with fine fabrics, patchwork and precise piecing.
One-Touch Needle Plate Release
Remove the needle plate quickly using the convenient one-touch release lever. This makes changing between the standard and straight stitch needle plates easier and also provides quick access when it's time to clean around the bobbin area.

The supplied Even Feed Foot helps feed multiple fabric layers together more evenly, making it especially useful for quilting, matching patterns, sewing layered projects and working with fabrics that can shift during sewing.
Knee Lift Included
Raise the presser foot with your knee while keeping both hands on your project. The supplied knee lift is particularly useful when quilting, appliquéing, pivoting or managing larger pieces of fabric.
Extra Wide Extension Table Included
The included extra wide extension table provides a larger, flatter sewing surface to help support quilts and other larger projects. Supporting more of the fabric around the machine can help reduce drag and make bulky projects easier to guide.
Lock-Out Safety Key
Use the lock-out key to temporarily disable the machine while changing the needle, presser foot or working around the needle area, adding an extra level of safety during setup and maintenance.
Memorised Needle Up/Down Function
Choose whether the needle stops in the raised or lowered position when you pause sewing. Keeping the needle down is especially useful when pivoting around corners, appliquéing or quilting.
LED Workspace Lighting
Built-in LED lighting illuminates the sewing area to help you see your fabric, stitching and needle position more clearly while you work.
Speed Control Slider
