Holly and Poinsettia is the sixth in the Birth Month Flower series of Echidna P.I.E. (P.I.E. stands for Premium Inspiration and Education).
Month 6 (December) is all about Embroidered 3D Flowers". Using applique designs, in this lesson Lindee will use customising software to repurpose embroidery designs to create a 3D effect. Lindee instructions include the use of tools within the Embrilliance Essentials and Embrilliance Enthusiast programs. Scroll down to watch the video. Although it is much easier and less time consuming to use embroidery customising and editing software, you can still complete this project without the appropriate software as Lindee's notes do include a very brief outline on how to do this.
For this month's project you will be creating a lovely three dimensional corsage.
Whether you are a beginner or experienced machine embroiderer, you will discover that Lindee's teaching is very thorough, well-presented, jargon free and easy-to-understand.
